Summary
The Wicked Junk Spellbook is one of the many weapons that can be acquired from The Nightmare, a recently introduced 'domain' of the Ratboy's Nightmare Update. It can be purchased at a price of 10,000,000 gold from the Green Golem, MANAGER SUPREME, or Rising Waters. Other viable methods of acquiring it include the following:
- A possible reward from Guttermouth Cells.
- A possible reward from The Lost.
In appearance, the Wicked Junk Spellbook is a gray-purplish metal-bound tome with an unknown industrial depiction on the front. There are several buttons and pieces of metal on the front along with two dimly glowing hexagons.
This spellbook's default attack is the most unique among the others, excluding the Greater Storms Spellbook. Instead of shooting projectiles, it fires instantaneous bolts of red lightning at a moderate range, with the casting delay holding it back slightly. The base damage of the lightning attack is 90, costing 2 stamina per shot, and the left-click magic bonus received is 100%. In perfect conditions, the Wicked Junk Spellbook can fire 10 shots in 8 seconds, giving it a fire rate of roughly 75 shots per minute.
The special ability of the Wicked Junk Spellbook is titled 'Rain of Toasters', which, upon activation, summons a rain of toasters. It consumes 4 stamina points in order to summon a red smog above the player, which then proceeds to drop 10 toasters in the direction the players is currently facing, dealing 400 damage per toaster and receiving 125% of the magic bonus. The cloud itself moves forward at a slow pace, meaning it can cover a little bit of distance in front of the player. The special ability lasts for roughly 8 seconds and has a cooldown of 26 seconds before it can be used again.
Trivia
- Rain of Toasters is very ineffective when used indoors or in tight spaces, as the toasters tend to hit the first thing they come into contact with - most likely the ceiling.
- The special ability Rain of Toasters is very effective against enemies that have large hitboxes such as Parasite and Mr.58.
- Immediately after using the ability, you can start shooting bolts incredibly fast until you run out of stamina.
- Many players highly recommend buying this over the Frontier Spellbook, as it has more DPS due to its ability, and the cost is 2/3rds of the Frontier Spellbook.
- During the Balance Update [v1.31], the Wicked Junk Spellbook's basic attack bonus was increased from 70% to 100%, and its special attack bonus was increased from 100% to 125%.
- The Wicked Junk Spellbook mixed with the Machine Rug Set and Krunkston Four, along with other accessories that boost the players damage can lead up to the special dealing around 10K damage.
