Summary[]
The Void Spike Ultradagger is one of the many weapons that can be acquired in Matumada. It can be purchased from the Construct at a price of 10,000,000 gold. There are no alternative methods to acquire the Void Spike Ultradagger outside of its main source.
Appearance/Usages[]
In appearance, the Void Spike Ultradagger is a dagger crafted from an unknown stone, with a conic-shaped blade and a glowing yellow gem on the end of the handle. The shape of the dagger could be compared to a miniature-sized spire.
When equipped, the Void Spike Ultradagger will consume 1.5 stamina points per swing and will receive 100% of the user's melee bonus.
Special Ability[]
The special ability of the Void Spike Ultradagger is titled Void Needle, which, upon activation, will cause the player to place the weapon in front of their chest and jab forward, causing the tip of the dagger to extend itself and pierce opponents at a great distance.
Void Needle consumes no stamina points, but requires 1 initial stamina point to be activated. The special ability's cooldown lasts for 3 seconds before it can be used again.
A unique feature of Void Needle is that the length the dagger extends to, and the damage of the special, will both scale inversely with the user's armor points. This means that users with smaller amounts of armor points will be able to extend the dagger a greater distance and deal higher damage, while users with larger amounts of armor points will only be able to extend it a short distance, if at all, and deal lower damage. The special ability deals 935 base damage, and loses 5.625 damage for each additional armor point the user has. Furthermore, Void Needle receives 100% of the user's melee bonus, however this does not influence the length of the extension.

- It was introduced in the Spring Update.
- It is the counterpart to the Eyeball of Reckoning Ultradagger and the Silver Crystal Ultradagger.
- Void Spike Ultradagger has the shortest, non-mode changing, special ability cooldown out of any weapon as of the Spring Update (v1.3).
- Wearing equipment that reduces the user's armor points will increase the length of Void Needle, although the difference is minor. This can be achieved by wearing equipment such as the Emperor's Cape, Fear, Gold, Punk, Yaaxil Crest, or Yaaxil Flame.
- Due to the hitbox displacement caused by the animation of Ultradaggers, they can be used to clip through walls. This is most commonly used to farm Path Gamblers in the Meeting Place and for out of bounds traversal.
