The Gift Tree is one of the eight plants that can be cultivated and harvested by the players from gardening, a feature introduced during the Ratboy's Nightmare Update.
The Gift Tree can appear after a Gift Tree Seed has been cultivated and grown over the course of 72 real-life hours (aka 3 real-life days). The Gift Tree Seed can be purchased from Mr. Sims, at a price range of 1,900,000-2,100,000 gold. It can also be obtained as a 'rare' drop from the Path Gambler.
Once the players harvest the Gift Tree, it will yield 2 to 5 Gift Fruits that can be opened by players, however, most of its rewards have little to no value, making it pointless to open the Gift Fruit. The Gift Fruits can be sold to a selling vendor at a selling price of 700,000 gold each.
While the Gift Trees takes the longest time to grow out of any plants from the Gardening feature, they can be very effective for gold profit, though it is far more ideal to do so at late-game, where players can buy enough seeds for a single plot to reduce the risk of losing tons of gold. In the long term, players who cultivate and harvest multiple Gift Trees will gain an average profit of 350,000 to 550,000 gold, depending on the price they buy the seed at.

- The Gift Tree is the only tree-based plant that can be grown from the Gardening feature.
- In the fourth and final stage of cultivation, two dark-orange eyes and two ear-like knots can be found near the bottom of the tree trunk, suggesting that the tree may be sentient.
