In appearance, it is just two simple plates filled with magical power. The king may have lost its legs due to it rotting which lead to wearing the Escort.
It is bought for 3,500,000 gold from Strangeman while it is bought for 3,200,000 gold from Vhitmire. Its selling price is 800,000 gold.

- Like most items in-game, armor pieces of the set can be acquired from the Otherworld Tower dungeon.
- It is possible to acquire armor pieces of the set from the Firefly Quest or the Otherworld Present.
- In-game, the description for Rotted King's Mask erroneously states that it provides 60 Melee Damage when it actually provides 65 Melee Damage.
- In-game, the description for Rotted King's Chestpiece erroneously states that it provides -3.2 HP Regen and 85 Melee Damage when it actually provides -1.6 HP Regen and 80 Melee Damage.
- As a result, the net HP Regen from equipping this set would be +1.6 HP Regen instead of 0.
- The net Melee Damage from this set is unaffected by the description errors because the two errors cancel out.
