Summary

The Red Power Fists are one of the many weapons that can be acquired from the Nightmare, a recently introduced 'domain' of the Ratboy's Nightmare Update. They can be purchased from the Green Golem or MANAGER SUPREME at a price of 5,000,000 gold.

In appearance, they are a pair of large metal gauntlets colored entirely in red to represent the absolute power of melee combat. Each gauntlet is completely and permanently closed in a fist, ready to swing at a moment's notice.

The basic attack of the Red Power Fists is a single punch, alternating from right to left and consuming 1.75 stamina points each time. The fists are faster than most melee weapons, with the capability to launch roughly 100 punches in a minute. Though the punches lack range, they are capable of hitting multiple enemies.

The Red Power Fists set themselves apart from every other melee weapon as they are the only ones to not force the player forward or slow them down while attacking. This grants the player a much higher degree of maneuverability in combat, allowing them to circle enemies or sprint effectively while attacking.

If the player lands three consecutive hits with the fists, the next three punches will be performed in quick succession, with the third punch launching an energized uppercut and left hook before pausing for a moment. While these extra attacks don't deal any more damage, they don't consume any stamina either. It is possible to wait after landing the first three hits and use the combo later unless the fists are unequipped or the next three punches are interrupted.

The special ability of the Red Power Fists is titled 'Echo Punch', which, upon activation, spends 3 stamina and slows down the player for 3 seconds while they charge the fists to release an echo in the form of a single, long-range punch. This attack can reach extreme distances, dealing 400 damage instead of the standard 330, but it has a very small hitbox which will make hitting stationary targets -such as birds- harder then with a gun or magic. The special ability's cooldown lasts for 10 seconds before it can be used again.

Trivia

The Red Power Fists originally consumed 1.25 stamina per attack before a later update increased the stamina spent per attack to 1.75.
The fists are highly sought after by players for their lack of forward momentum and an affordable increase in DPS.
It is possible to attack incredibly fast with the Red Power Fists by performing the special cancel, causing the DPS of the weapon to increase substantially and allowing most bosses to be defeated much faster than normal.
