Overlay
Red Ogres are medium-leveled monsters, but fairly easy to kill. These ogres can be found at The Rolling Road and Blackrock Mountain. Without any defense and attempting in close quarters combat, will usually end with you getting one-shotted. Low, mid and even high tiers are at danger to this one-shot monstrosity, although leaving high tier players with more or less than half health. However, these ogres are fairly slow and very easy to run away from or dodge and can be defined by being a tank; slow attacks, slow walkspeed and tons of damage.
Attack Patterns

The Red Ogre has three attacks and his freeze/ delay time is about 3 seconds before he attacks again.
- The Ogre swings his club from the side (occurs when you are close).
- The Ogre carries his club to his back and smashes the floor (occurs when you are very close).
- The Ogre steps forward, hits then returns to original position (occurs at medium to close range).
Tips
Wait until the Red Ogre attacks, back off, then attack. But be cautious of the three-second recovery time. The best way to attack the Red Ogre is staying away; magic, ranged or using specials which can reach far. Jumping on top of the Ogre won't work.
