Red Lantern

Template:Monster InfoBoxRed Lanterns are fairly dangerous enemies that can be found around Pebble Beach. They move around by hopping and can spot a player from a fairly large distance away. They are fairly fast and will chase you down given the chance.

Red Lanterns have two attacks. The first is a ranged projectile fired by the Lantern, most often used when the player is far away from them. This projectile has a pretty high range and speed making it somewhat difficult to dodge for newer players. The second attack is only used when a player is close by the lantern. It will stop for a second before jumping up and damaging any players close enough. This attack can do heavy damage but has a cooldown leaving the Red Lantern vulnerable.

Ranged weapons or attacks would likely be the safer method for defeating Red Lanterns, as long as you also dodge its ranged attacks. If fighting by melee, make sure to keep a distance when the Red Lantern is doing its close range attack.
