The Petrified Grassland is a massive area that can be found in the Frontier. It borders many areas which will include the following: Hoodlum Falls, The Pits, Great Pine Forest, Rubble Spring, The Rolling Road, and The Far Coast. It's relatively a clear field of grass, with very few trees. Its notable landmarks are the following: Archaeologist's Tent, The Pits Key Door, and Ancient Ribcage. During the nighttime, this massive area can be dangerous for unprepared players, so it is advised for them to be cautious of their surroundings.
Somewhere in the middle of the massive area, the player may find the giant ribcage. The Ancient Titanium Knight can be found there. Surrounding these ribcages are big rocks that usually have Moon Mushrooms growing upon the rocks' surfaces.
The Archaeologist's Tent can be found near The Pits Key Door. This tent is where the Archaeologist resides in Petrified Grassland. The Archaeologist is there to presumably study the purple, glowing door known as The Pits Key Door. The Archaeologist sells the Frail Wooden Sword, the starter weapon of beginner players, as well as an Ivory armor set.
The Pits Key Door is the purple, glowing door that can be found near the Archaeologist's tent. This serves as a gateway between The Pits and Petrified Grassland. To enter The Pits Key Door, the player must have the Peapod Necklace equipped. Once equipped, the player will have access to this door anytime they have this on. If the player takes this off, the door will become unaccessible until the player decides to wear it again.
