The Inspector is one of the many elite mobs that can be found in the Frontier, and was introduced in the Otherworld Update. There had been no reports of the Inspector being found in the Otherworld Tower, a 50-floor dungeon where a maximum of 4 players can venture through and slay the enemies that lurk in the dungeon, although there is a similar monster in the floor Izzieworld III. Despite this, the Inspector can be found in the Frontier, usually in locations where the players can be bombarded with mobs, especially places like Blackrock Mountain and The Forgotten Lands.

Appearance

The Inspector is a humanoid-like figure that roams in the Frontier. It wields a very large hammer that has color schemes that usually represents evil or hostility. The most notable feature of the Inspector is its hat, which is widely known as the Inspector's Hat. Players are able to obtain the Inspector's Hat, however the hammer that the Inspector equips is not an actual item and therefore cannot be obtained.

The Inspector is often confused with the NPC known as Wonald Izzi Jackson, as well as the mysterious NPC Dr. Seuss ( known as Mystery Man), as all three of these inhabitants share similar attires.

Behavior

Players who have in-game sounds enabled will be able to hear this mob approaching, due to the fact that Inspectors will always play the following sound file when in range: Music_Funkyboard.

Similar to most mobs that wields a weapon, the Inspector will tend to strike their targets by performing various attacks that the players should dodge. The Inspector's hammer is capable of inflicting large amounts of damage upon players and should not be underestimated.

This mob has three forms of attack that should be kept in mind when attempting to battle it:

  • The Inspector will smash the ground in front of him, dealing damage to any players hit.
  • The Inspector will spin around and swing his hammer, dealing damage to any players hit.
  • The Inspector slams his hammer into the ground and charges towards the player, being able to deal continuous damage to any players hit.
