Hoodlum Falls is a large, hostile area that can be unforgiving towards beginner players that managed to wander into this area. It borders the Petrified Grassland, The Quiet Field, Rubble Spring, and The Far Coast. The hostile mobs in Hoodlum Falls are usually Bandits or Ratdogs. Ghosts can also spawn during the nighttime, but they do not naturally spawn in Hoodlum Falls, instead, they're lured from the neighboring areas if a player is located at Hoodlum Falls. This area is known for an abundant supply of Fallichen, Yellow Balloon Mushroom, and Purple Balloon Mushroom. The Mushtache Mushroom can also be found in Hoodlum Falls, however, the mushroom usually spawns by itself.
As the player enters Hoodlum Falls, it's notable that there is a watermill that can be found in the middle between two intersecting rivers. A small, wide bridge can also be found here, serving as a pathway between the mainland and the middle areas. Other than that, its geographic features mainly feature autumnal trees and rivers from Rubble Spring and Topple Lake.
Players may come here to begin the quest known as the Arnold Slime Quest. This quest will reward the players a Pipe Rifle once the players complete a number of objectives and tasks.
