Overlay
Template:Monster InfoBoxGumbos are fast and small medium tier creatures. They can be located at The Pits during night as well as Rubble Spring. Jump Boots enable users to easily run away from Gumbo, leaving only low and some medium tier players at risk. If it becomes day, Gumbo will not despawn. You don't have to go that far for it to lose focus of you.
Attack Patterns
Gumbo has two attacks. His time delay is about 1-2 seconds long before he attacks again.
- Gumbo leaps from his position to you (occurs at medium to far range).
- Gumbo punches for a long time (occurs when you are very close).
Tips
Get very close until Gumbo begins to punch, back off and attack from range (punching animation is long). You can also go far enough back to where Gumbo jumps towards you then attack in his freeze frames, then repeat. Gumbo usually won't kill you if you have a decent amount of defense so don't fear dying in one attack.
