Summary
The Gargoyle is an NPC that can be found in The Mansion. The Gargoyle is a traveling entity that teleports to different places of The Mansion, especially near places like The Deli. The Gargoyle is an item-buyer dealer, a type of quest giver that will purchase collectibles in exchange for gold. This process is very similar to Slayer's Tasks from the 1.10 (Fishing) Update.
