The Frontier Spellbook's special, Eternal Form, buffs the player's projectile attack at base from 140 to 205 while reducing the stamina consumption to 1.8, and changes the magic bonus from 100% to 110%. Summary

The Frontier Spellbook is one of the many weapons that can be acquired in the Frontier. It can be purchased by the Strangeman at a price of 15,000,000 gold.

In appearance, the Frontier Spellbook is a gray stone-crafted tome with the raw essence of the Frontier sealed within the pages. The artwork found at the center of the tome depicts two sets of unknown items, all of them having main colors of the Frontier; yellow, red, and blue.

Like most magic spellbooks, it is a single projectile attack-based spellbook. A trait that makes the Frontier Spellbook unique is that it was compiled alongside the Frontier itself, meaning the pages existed since the birth of the Frontier. Another trait that makes it unique is its special ability, which boosts the player's fire rate, as well as affecting other statistics applied to the spellbook.

The base damage of the projectile is 140, costing 2 stamina per shot, and the magic bonus received is 100%. Whilst casting, the player's walkspeed multiplier is 65%. In perfect conditions, the Frontier Spellbook can fire 10 shots in 7.5 seconds, giving it a fire rate of around 80 shots per minute.

The Frontier Spellbook's special, Eternal Form, buffs the player's projectile attack at base from 140 to 205 while reducing the stamina consumption to 1.8, and changes the magic bonus from 100% to 110%. While in use, projectiles become larger and gain an AOE effect, which deals an extra 50% of the user’s magic bonus to anything it hits. This ability lasts for 7 seconds and has a cooldown of 20 seconds. During the duration of the special, the player will receive a brief speed boost with each cast, allowing them to move much faster than their regular walkspeed, while attacking at the same time.

Trivia

  • Its projectiles are a mixture of the main colors of red, yellow, and blue, all of which are the main colors that signify the Frontier as its main theme.
  • Some parts of the community advise players to not purchase it from Strangeman and instead, acquire it through other means, such as the Otherworld Tower dungeon's rewards and/or Firefly Quest.
  • Even in Eternal Form, the Frontier Spellbook has less DPS than the Frontier Stargun, but what it lacks in DPS, it makes up for cost efficiency.
  • When equipped, the player gains a faint, white light that surrounds the player's body.
  • When equipped, the player's hands will be surrounded with the raw essence-energies of the Frontier (red, blue, yellow).
  • The players can fire approximately 9 projectiles in Eternal Form before needing to return to the default form.
  • During the Halloween Update, the Frontier Spellbook's base damage was buffed from 130 to 140.
  • During the Balance Update [v1.31], the Frontier Spellbook's basic attack bonus was increased from 75% to 100%.
  • Eternal Form's AOE effect will also effect enemies directly hit by attacks, making it so that anything hit by the projectile itself will be dealt in total a 160% of the user's magic bonus.
