Summary
The Frontier Spellbook is one of the many weapons that can be acquired in the Frontier. It can be purchased by the Strangeman at a price of 15,000,000 gold.
Appearance/Usages
In appearance, the Frontier Spellbook is a tome with a grey stone cover. The artwork found at the center of the tome depicts two sets of three squares arranged in a triangular shape, with each of the squares containing the main colors of the Frontier; yellow, red, and blue. When held, the user's hands are enveloped with swirls that match the colors of the frontier and the user glows a faint white.
Like most magic spellbooks, it is a single projectile attack-based spellbook. The projectile consumes 2 stamina points per shot, which deal 140 damage and receive 100% of the user's magic bonus. While casting, the player's walkspeed is reduced by 35%. In perfect conditions, the Frontier Spellbook can fire 10 shots in 8 seconds, firing 75 shots per minute with enough endurance.
Special Ability
The Frontier Spellbook's special ability is titled Eternal Form, which, upon activation, causes the user to twirl around, absorbing the energy of the frontier. Once the spin is complete, the user begins to glow colors that resemble the frontier with vast brightness. Now, the user's projectiles explode on impact.
Eternal Form consumes 2 stamina points on activation. Within 7 seconds, the spellbook will gain these properties:
- Whenever the projectile collides with an enemy or object, a small blast radius (or a small AoE) will occur, which will deal 85 damage, in addition to the base attack's damage, while receiving 50% of the user's magic bonus.
- In practice, this means that, when the projectile collides with an enemy, the base attack is indirectly increased to 225 damage and receives 150% of the user's magic bonus.
- Increased rate of fire for the base attack.
- Reduced base attack stamina consumption to 1.8 points.
- Increased walkspeed applied to the user temporarily.
The user can fire up to 9 shots during the 7 seconds. The special ability's cooldown lasts for 20 seconds before it can be used again.
Trivia
- During the Halloween Update, the Frontier Spellbook's base damage was buffed from 130 to 140.
- On March 25th, 2021, the wiki staff Tooquick published a UGC Roblox avatar accessory for the Frontier Spellbook.
- During the Balance Update [v1.31], the Frontier Spellbook's basic attack bonus was increased from 75% to 100%.
