This article will compile the list of various bugs, glitches, and issues found in the game, Fantastic Frontier. These mishaps, common or not, significant or insignificant, will gradually be on this list as we, the wiki staff, edit it. As well as the game, this page is still under construction. Please list down bugs that you have found, and images would be helpful. These glitches may or may not fixed in the future.
List of Known Bugs/Glitches
Game-Breaking Bugs
A list that compiles the bugs, glitches, and issues that completely destroys some of the features, mechanics, and/or aspects of the game, Fantastic Frontier, and ultimately makes the game and/or features dysfunctional. These are considered to be very severe and should be one of the top priorities that need to be fixed by the developers.
Not all of the bugs, glitches, and/or issues are game-breaking, they just meet the criteria to be deemed as a game-breaking bug.
Alias | Details | Example(s) | Status |
---|---|---|---|
Apocalyptic | Upon joining a server, most of the rocks and trees that are scattered throughout the Frontier are invisible, turning the Frontier into a place of 'leaf clouds', invisible wall nuisances, and lifeless lands. | Patched | |
Flying to the Heavens | Mobs, creatures, and bosses tend to glitch out of the map due to the terrains and will never spawn on the server again. Mobs may also begin to rapidly spazz out into random locations, colliding against nearby players (Mushroom Head). | Patched | |
Loading... | Upon joining a server, the players may get stuck on the Loading... screen as the game tries to load-in data. | ||
Returning to the Frontier...or Not? | After completing the Otherworld Tower and finally killing Mr.58, the final boss of the dungeon instance, players will be stuck on the "Returning to the Frontier..." screen. Similar to the "Loading..." bug. | ||
Start Over! | Upon joining a server, the player may start off with a fresh inventory/equipment and/or fresh appearances.
Occurs while joining the server or joining the Otherworld Tower dungeon instance. |
||
Unstable Connection | A player can be kicked from the servers with the message 'Kicked from server: Unstable connection detected.'. This is not necessarily a problem with bad servers, but when kicked from servers that are fine, it may become a nuisance. |
Worldwide Bugs
A list that compiles the bugs, glitches, and issues that occurs both in Fantastic Frontier and other games in the ROBLOX platform. These bugs, glitches, and/or issues were mainly caused by ROBLOX Updates, resulting in some of Fantastic Frontier's features, aspects, and mechanics, as well as other games, to have dysfunctional features.
Alias | Details | Example(s) | Status |
---|---|---|---|
Bad Request | Players are unable to join any games across the Roblox platform due to an unexpected issue that occurred on July 17, 2018. Players would receive "Bad Request" and other errors. | Patched | |

Connection Error | Joining private/public servers in Fantastic Frontier and outside of the game will result in a connection error. | ||
Dysfunctional Equipment | All weapons, tools, and equipment will become dysfunctional and will not function properly, preventing the players from using it again.
This bug had also occurred in many other games with a toolbar, such as Swordburst, Tales from the Valley, and so forth. |
Patched | |
Extremely Hardcore Lag | An update that ROBLOX had changed on the platform causes the servers to lag out, resulting in players reaching very 'unholy' pings, very laggy game-play, and so forth. | ||
Guest I Restart | An update that Roblox had changed/added/removed on the platform causes some players to have their data restarted into a guest account, whether or not they are actually logged into their account in the website. | Patched | |
Manual Clicks | Equipping and unequipping tools will result in the gear/equipment "poofing out of existence" | Patched | |
Mouse Cursor's Stuck | On October 29, 2018, a Roblox update broke the mouse cursor in Fantastic Frontier, making it difficult for players to do anything. | Patched |
Falsified Bugs
A list that compiles the bugs, glitches, and issues that were once foreseen as legitimate issues, glitches, and bugs, however, other details contradicts or disproven the issue report, causing the bug report to become 'falsified' information.
Some bug reports listed in the table below aren't necessarily falsified. For example, the issue "Foreign Visitors" was initially a legitimate bug report as before the Otherworld Update, mobs found outside of their native zones aren't normal by any means. After the introduction of the Otherworld Update, this was later revisited where mobs can now be found in a variety of map areas due to the monster hunting system implemented during the update.
Alias | Details | Example(s) | Status |
---|---|---|---|
Blame the Spider! | The majority of the lag in a server may be from the Corrupted Wizard spawning constantly, and killing it will stop the constant unneeded respawns and free the server from lag temporarily.
However, this was proven wrong as there are other things that cause lag, such as the number of players, the large number of humanoids in the workspace, and so forth. |
Falsified | |
Foreign Visitors | Enemies are sometimes flung out of their native domains, resulting in the mob appearing in places they are not native to.
A famous example is the Magma Knight appearing in Celestial Field. After the introduction of the Otherworld Update, the developers made it possible for the Magma Knights to now spawn in Celestial Field and other places they were supposedly flung to. |
Patched
Revisited | |
Unsafe Sanctuaries | Enemies can spawn inside safe zones, such as a town or a refuge where they should not normally spawn at.
This is considered to be disproven and enemies can supposedly be found in towns, sanctuaries, and refuge as of the Otherworld Update. |

Mediocre Bugs
A list that compiles the bugs, glitches, and issues that may hinder the player's gameplay and at most, may cause the player to die without justification or a reasonable way of dying. These are considered to be somewhat severe and may or may not fixed in later patches and/or updates.
There are three levels for any issues categorized under Mediocre Bugs:
- Level 1 - The bug, glitch, and/or issue causes little irritation and/or annoyance and on most occasions, does not affect the players in a significant way.
- Level 2 - The bug, glitch, and/or issue causes repeated irritation and/or annoyance and on most occasions, causes the players to be outraged, confused, and/or upset.
- Level 3 - The bug, glitch, and/or issue causes dangerous irritation and/or annoyance and on most occasions, affects both the players and game heavily.

Outside of buildings, this can also occur upon entering the Strangeman's Domain or the Rabbit Hole as well. |
||

Closed Booth | The Enlightened Croc Waiter will glitch if a player left during the booth queue, preventing other players from using the booth.
|
||

Funky Driftler | When using the Funky Driftlander left-click attack the players might get stuck in the dashing speed and direction, even if they had released the mouse.
It does not matter whether or not the players equip another tool or weapon, they will still be in that exact direction and speed until they die or rejoin. R Cooldown | While using an item's special ability (by pressing the letter R), then unequipping it before the cooldown is initiated, the cooldown will only start once the item is re-equipped. | ||
Realtor Scammers | Similar to the Spirit Scammers bug, interacting with Realtor Reynold with enough gold to purchase a home will result in Realtor Reynold stating that the player doesn't have 'enough' gold and takes away their gold, forcing them to grind again. | ||
Really Painful Amputation | The player's legs will be bent/merge into the player's upper torso and head. | ||
Secured Door | If the player is lagging and is repeatedly getting out or entering a building, it may glitch the player's ability to use the door, preventing them from accessing the particular building. | ||

Stilt's Fault | Upon entering The Spider's Nest, while wearing the Spider Stilts, may cause the terrain to interfere with the mechanics of the stilts, resulting in the player being spazzed up and down while flashes of black backgrounds flashing rapidly on their screens. This leaves the player immobile until they reset or rejoin. | ||

Underground | Upon joining a server while the map is still loading, players may fall out of the map and die or get stuck in the terrains underneath sanctuaries and map areas, especially places like Topple Town. This usually occurs when the map is still rendering and loading out all of the terrains that were intended to prevent the server from lagging. | ||
Un-Healthy | In older servers, the player's health pool would not update to the new 200 base HP, leaving the player's overall health to be decreased by 100 HP. | Patched | |
Unloaded Player's Data | Players are unable to see text on both health and stamina bars, compass, Itempedia, and their inventories. Also does not show the players if they can interact with the subject, but can still talk to the NPC nonetheless. Player's options will not display. | ||
Wizard Ain't Drifters | While wearing Red Wizard or the Blue Wizard set in either vanity or equipment, the Funky Driftlander is unable to work, as well as using a parasol and wings afterward. | ||
You Cannot Proceed | Entering the Otherworld Tower dungeon with a party member could result in the player(s) being stuck in one screen and position, preventing them to proceed. This results in the players being forced to re-join/re-enter the dungeon instance.
This may be caused when the camera is broken. |
||
Level 3 | |||
Automatic Death | Upon joining the game, pressing the Play button, and/or launching the game, players will hear the "death noise". This typically results in the players dying before they are able to view the Frontier. Any items in their inventories before they joined will be removed. | Patched | |
Endless Chasms of Wasted Time | While progressing through the Otherworld Tower dungeon, especially on floors like Floor 21, monsters can be stuck on the outer rock ledges that stick out in the endless chasms (death pit) of the tower, preventing players from progressing. | ||

Reports typically include the following mobs but not limited to: Teakettle Tony, Mushroom Head, Whisperer, Inspector, Ratdog, etc. |
||
Tony's Backflip | Teakettle Tony may be bugged, doing a 'backflip', or escaping the dungeon's floor, forcing the players to re-join the dungeon session in order to continue. | Patched | |
Wall Glitch | Invisible walls tend to glitch in parts with complex unions. Varies largely depending on how severe it is. |
Abusive Bugs
A list that compiles bugs, glitches, and issues that are usually manipulated and/or abused in the game of Fantastic Frontier and is not intended by the game developers. They are usually associated or caused by the server's lag and are sometimes resolved in some occasions but may be reverted back to be abused or manipulated again.
Abusive bugs and glitches will include anything that benefits the players in any forms, shapes, or ways that can exploit some of the game's aspects and features, ruining the main focus or concept of the game. Not all of the listed bugs, glitches, and issues are abused heavily, they just meet the following criteria that can cause them to be deemed as one. For example, being able to double-cast spells makes it easier for players to eliminate mobs at a quicker pace, even after the special ability is in its cooldown.
Alias | Details | Example(s) | Status |
---|---|---|---|
Bugs (Patched) | |||
Double Cast Spells | "Cast a spell, put it away, and cast it again."
Spamming R to activate the weapon's special ability, quickly unequipping it, and either equip it again or equip another weapon to use the other spells and/or special abilities. |
Patched | |
Frail to Riches | In the Otherworld Update, the Frail Wooden Sword was sold at a selling price of 3,000 and was constantly farmed by players since the price was 5 gold, allowing this to become a temporary viable method to acquire gold before it was patched. | Patched | |
Mob Lagfest | If the server is laggy (or perhaps, not lagging at all), mobs such as the Ancient Golden Knight will appear more than once, probably due to a script error. | Patched | |
Ocean Platycricket's Infestation | The Black Tower Well in Celestial Field's tower home is infested with Ocean Platycricket, making it a temporary source of gold. | Patched | |
One Rod, Two Fishes | Fishing in the waters with multiple lines; getting two fishing rods of different types, cast one, unequipping, then cast the other fishing rod. This results in the players being able to fish more than once at the same time where they are able to catch two fish of the same type when the player equipped the rods again and start fishing afterward. | Patched | |
Tripping Parasol | Players are able to drop their Mushroom Parasols in an attempt to annoy and ruin other people's experiences in Fantastic Frontier. The only benefit they get is satisfactory of ruining other people's experiences. In other words, being a jerk to others. | Patched | |
Bugs (Not Patched/No Info) | |||
Dagger's Negative Stamina | Players are able to go beyond the stamina limit's bar, entering the 'negative' limit zone. Holding the Shift key with negative stamina will result in the players to sprint continuously until the Shift key isn't activated. | ||
Duplicative Items | While venturing through the Frontier and harvesting harvestable and/or slaying mobs, it may result in the duplication of items. Instead of harvesting one harvestable, it can range up to 3 or kill an Inspector, and it would flood the player's inventory with 20 Rich Man's Delight. This could be used where players can manipulate the issue to acquire large amounts of gold.
Cause of it remains unclear, although the blame shifts to lag. |
||
Fishy Gifts | While using the Infinite Sight glitch, players are able to detect an Otherworld Present easily and if it's near the waters, players are expected to fish and open the present at the same time to get double rewards. | ||
Freeze! | The Pygmy Dragon, formerly known as the Chromatic Dragon, will freeze in one position after firing its beam attack, allowing the players to kill the mob while it is frozen. | ||
Gorilla Glued | Mobs tends to get stuck in barriers, objects, and/or props. Typically happens in the Otherworld Tower dungeon. | ||
Infinite Sight | Players as of the 1.10 (Fishing) Update find ways to abuse the game mechanics in order to remove the fog, resulting in its disappearance and the players being able to see the map without the fog effect.
One way is by using the home teleportation button in the Strangeman's Domain. Another way is using the home teleportation button in Rabbit Hole. |
||
Invisibility | Interacting with the Strangeman's Portal while doing something else at the same time will result in the players becoming invisible. | ||
Levitation | Equipping the Ratboy Morph Ring and the Spider Stilts will simultaneously allow the players to float in mid-air or hover above the ground. It mainly occurs in The Spider's Nest, as well as in the Otherworld Tower dungeon.
This can also be done by having the Spider Stilts hidden in vanity, while still morphed as a Ratboy. |
||
Lucked Out | Players with certain items in their inventory (unequipped/unusable) could still have their items in the inventory after dying, despite being programmed to disappear upon death. | ||
Rabbit's Ceiling | Players are able to stand on the ceiling, enabling them to shoot at or cast their spells onto the Parasite, being able to avoid its melee attacks. However, they are prone to the Parasite's ranged/magic attacks and will still be hurt nonetheless. | ||
Rapid Firerate | Equipping other weapons rapidly increases the fire rate of magic weapons, and potentially, other weapons as well, enabling the players to continuously shoot at enemies at a quick pace that is not intended by the developers. | ||
Robobeam | The Robo-Hopper's beam isn't placed correctly, being located above the head of the player, leaving the player with no scratches whatsoever. | ||
Running Fisher | Players sometimes have the ability to run around while they are fishing, being able to move away from hostile mobs without having to interrupt their cast. | ||
Stanfish Market | The Stanfish can be purchased from Arbewhy at a price of 8 gold as of the 1.10 (Fishing) Update, enabling some players to farm the Stanfish by purchasing it repeatedly from Arbewhy since the selling price of the Stanfish is 100 gold. | ||
Ultra Booth Service | While using Ultrablade's special ability and using The Deli's booth at the same time, players can use weapons and open their inventories. They can also press the home teleportation button and do other things until the service is complete.
|
