Summary[]
The Wicked Junk Spellbook is one of the many weapons that can be acquired from The Nightmare, a recently introduced 'domain' of the Ratboy's Nightmare Update. It can be purchased at a price of 10,000,000 gold from the Green Golem, MANAGER SUPREME, or Rising Waters. Other viable methods of acquiring it include the following:
- A possible reward from Guttermouth Cells.
- A possible reward from The Lost.
Appearance/Usage[]
In appearance, the Wicked Junk Spellbook is a gray-purplish metal-bound tome with an unknown industrial depiction on the front. There are several buttons and pieces of metal on the front, along with two dimly glowing hexagons.
Wicked Junk Spellbook's default attack is unique compared to other spellbooks. Instead of shooting projectiles, it fires instantaneous bolts of red lightning at a moderate range, with a minor cast delay. The bolt consumes 2 stamina per shot, dealing 90 damage and receiving 100% magic bonus. In perfect conditions, the spellbook fires 10 shots in 8 seconds, firing 75 shots in a minute with enough endurance.
Special Ability[]
The special ability of the Wicked Junk Spellbook is titled Rain of Toasters, which, upon activation, forms a cloud above the user as they lift their right arm, powering with immense energy. Shortly after, the user throws the cloud forward with all their strength, as toasters rain from the cloud and explode along its path.
Rain of Toasters consumes 4 stamina points, which drops 10 toasters in the direction the user is currently facing. This will slow the user down for 4 seconds before regaining their speed. Each toaster deals 400 damage and receives 125% of the user's magic bonus. The cloud moves forward at a moderate pace, rendering it difficult to land multiple toasters on small enemies. The ability is ineffective if there is a roof above the user's head, because the toasters will land above the ceiling rather than the floor. However, for large enemies such as Parasite and Mr.58, most toasters will land and deal a heavy blow. The special ability lasts for 8 seconds and has a cooldown of 26 seconds before it can be used again.
A unique property of the special ability is that, immediately after the user's animation is finished, the user fires lightening bolts twice as fast until all of their stamina has depleted.
Trivia[]
- During the Balance Update [v1.31], the Wicked Junk Spellbook's basic attack bonus was increased from 70% to 100%, and its special attack bonus was increased from 100% to 125%.
- Along with Greater Storms Spellbook, Wicked Junk Spellbook is one of the few spellbooks that do not fire a projectile that leaves the book.
- The Wicked Junk Spellbook mixed with the Machine Rug Set and Krunkston Four, along with other accessories that boost the player's magic bonus, can lead up to the special dealing around 10000 damage if all toasters land on the enemy.
