They are often found in the Great Pine Forest, Greenhorn Grove, The Deep Forest, and Twinkling Meadow, all of which are areas that are notably filled with forms of life, mainly plants. After the Otherworld Update was introduced in the Frontier, the Deer can also be found at A Frontier of Dragons.
The Deer will flee on sight when a player is nearby. They may be seen travelling alone, or in herds. When killed, the player will always receive their pelt. On some occasions, they may also receive Antlers or Crossbow Bolts.
