The Darkroot is a consumable monster drop that can be obtained from killing Bandits, Dark Cellery, and Otherworldly Dollhunters. It heals 25 hp upon consumption while also granting +25 melee damage for 10 seconds. While it isn't the most common of consumables, it has a selling price of 2,800 gold, making it an item potentially worth selling for beginner and midgame players. The description hints at the possibility of this root's plant arriving in the Frontier at a later date, but as of yet there is no knowledge of the Darkroot's correlation to an existing Frontier plant.
