The Crossbow is one of the many weapons that can be acquired in The Frontier. The Crossbow can be purchased from Hunter Jack in Topple Town at a price of 10,000 gold.
Appearance/Usages[]
In appearance, the Crossbow is made out of wood, steel, and strings, designed to be a single-shot crossbow that combatants can use in battle. Its primary ammunition is the Crossbow Bolt, but other substitutes can be used as ammunition for the Crossbow as well, such as:
The weapon has no special abilities whatsoever. To make up for this, the players can use the scope mechanic to aim at creatures from afar. However, the bolts it fires travel slowly and in a projectile arch, in which the wielder can possibly miss its shots.
The Crossbolt's basic attack receives 100% of the player's ranged bonus.

- The Crossbow is the only weapon in-game that is compatible with multiple ammunition types as of the Ratboy's Nightmare Update.
- It is the only ranged weapon from the Frontier's release that isn't a firearm.
