Corrupted Wizard

Template:Monster InfoBoxThe Corrupted Wizard is a large spider deep inside "The Spider's Nest" located inside Blackrock Mountain. It's a boss that regularly drops a Bag of Gems and a Blackrock Mountain Portal Key. It has two rare drops that can be equipped, which are Spider Stilts and Corrupted Wizard's Helmet.

It has a ginormous stature along with glowing red eyes, a wizard cap on top of it, resembling the Corrupted Wizard's Helmet, and wooden legs.

The Corrupted Wizard has three different attacks.

• A melee attack where the spider swings its front legs at the player once, in a whip fashion towards the ground.
• Another melee attack where the spider charges in a straight line, swinging its front legs downward up to 8 times.
• A ranged and melee attack that involves the spider raising its whole body into the air by straightening its back legs and launching two balls of purple magic that explode on impact, causing AOE damage. The spider then proceeds to slam its body into the ground, damaging anyone underneath.

Location

For those having trouble locating the cave itself, first use the map for assistance finding Blackrock Mountain.

From there go to the North side of the mountain. You should see a cave nearby that looks like this.

Go up to the cave and click "E" to enter.

Once you've entered, follow the cave path until you see a large opening below. The Corrupted Wizard is down there.

After you've defeated the Corrupted Wizard, you will need to pick up the dropped key. This key allows you to go through the portal.

Once you've gone through you'll end up on top of the Blackrock Mountain, this action does not use up the key and you are able to go back down into the lair through the portal.

From there you can either climb down or walk up to the peak and talk to the Spirit of the Mountain.
