Summary

The Corrupted Rapier is one of the many weapons that can be acquired in the Frontier. It can be purchased from the Otherworldly Weaponsmith in The Town of Right and Wrong at a price of 2,100,000 gold. It is also noted that the players can also receive the Corrupted Rapier as a gift from the Interdimensional Traveler.

Appearance/Usages

The Corrupted Rapier is described to be a rapier crafted with a thin light-blue blade. Its grip, handle, and guard is assumed to be made out of an unknown mineral (ore) corrupted by an essence. Corrupted particles can be seen emitting out of the blade, as well as a translucent white 'cover' that conceals the blade.

When equipped, its normal poke-based attacks consume 2.1 stamina points. Each hit lasts around 1-2 seconds, enabling the players to quickly poke and taunt their opponents, however, the players' stamina will deplete quickly if it used in a reckless manner.

The special ability of the Corrupted Rapier is titled 'Dark Charge', which, upon activation, results in the player preparing to charge towards their targets in a single direction, hitting anything that is in its range. The special ability's cooldown lasts for 12 seconds before it can be used again and consumes 2.5 stamina points.

Trivia

When equipped, the Corrupted Rapier's grip will emit corrupted particles that share similar appearances to the particles seen in the Otherworld Tower dungeon.
After the special ability is activated, players' walkspeed will be slowed down for around 5-7 seconds before they can move normally again.
As for the Ratboy's Nightmare update, the weapon appears to be equipped by the Corrupted Onyx Knight.
- With the Corrupted Onyx Set, Black Antlers and the Corrupted Rapier, the player can look like a Corrupted Onyx Knight.
Due to the rapier's base damage buff as of the v1.31 update, the quick nature of the rapier allows for even higher DPS.
