Summary
The Corrupted Knight is an enemy from the Ratboy's Nightmare Update
The Corrupted Knight appears to be a player-sized Ancient Onyx Knight wielding a glowing blade and antlers. The peer-holes on the helmet emit a bright glow, similar to the blade. The knight itself is surrounded by an electric effect.
It is not an uncommon enemy and can be seen as challenging most players. It has a large amount of health and a variety of attacks. It also introduces the Teleportation ability which allows it to teleport to a player. The Corrupted Knight has a lot of mobility and can be quite the obstacle.
Usually when a knight teleports to a player, it creates a vortex-like effect on itself and the targeted player, and then proceeds to teleport near the player presumably to attack them.
Its recommended that players who encounter this enemy have walkspeed and jumpheight to evade the attacks
Attacks
- Lunge - The Corrupted Knight slides towards the player with its blade pointed at the targeted player (similar to the Funky Driftlander's attack) as it moves towards the player. This attack is consistent and can deal massive damage
- 3 Consecutive Slashes - The Corrupted Knight will hold their blade vertically, pausing before continuing to slash 3 times towards the player each lunging the Corrupted Knight forward, doing a ton of damage.
- Slash - The Corrupted Knight slashes the player if they get too close.
- Jab - The Corrupted Knight will quickly stab the player
Trivia
- The Corrupted Knight strongly resembles that of an Ancient Onyx Knight only being player-sized, Having Black Antlers, and a glowing blade
- In one of the hidden key rooms, you will find a boss that resembles the Corrupted Knight, except it's masked with a skull and wears a different outfit.
