Summary
The Brainstaff is one of the many weapons that can be acquired in the Frontier. The Brainstaff can be purchased from the Otherworldly Weaponsmith in The Town of Right and Wrong at a price of 5,000,000 gold.
In appearance, the Brainstaff is a staff that takes on the seems to have a living brain-based creature on its end. With its hilt and grip appear to be made out of bronze, copper, and wood.
The staff has two regular attack animations that cycle after one another. Despite the staff being a staff, it still reduces the user's walkspeed to a pitiful amount when attacking, similar to that of a greatsword's effect. The first attack takes about 3 stamina points whilst the second attack takes about 3 stamina points as well, although sometimes each attack would reduce the player's stamina by 4. Despite its flaw, it is capable of regenerating the unexpected loss quickly.
The staff's base damage for a regular attack is 500 while swinging it greatly reduces the user's walkspeed regardless of their current walkspeed.
The special ability of the Brainstaff is titled 'Brain Bash', which, upon activation, allows the user to get off three overhead blows (hence the name Brain Bash), each coming faster than the one before it and dealing the same damage upon making contact with either the ground or a target the staff emits a red crackling energy effect. This will consume 3 stamina points. The special ability's cooldown lasts for 16 seconds before it can be used again.

- The Brainstaff was the first melee weapon that could receive magic damage bonuses.
- While equipped, the user is slightly tilted to the side. Every so often, the staff will emit a red crackling effect.
