Summary

The Book of Corrupted Tales is a 'harvestable' that was introduced during the Ratboy's Nightmare Update. It is one of the many collectibles that are needed by the players in order to complete the entries of the Itempedia of the Nightmare.

The Book of Corrupted Tales can be found practically anywhere in the Nightmare, typically seen on top of objects, props, and furniture scattered across the zones. It can also be found on the ground or on high platforms in certain zones. They can be found in various zones that include but are not limited to:

Appearance/Usages

In appearance, the Book of Corrupted Tales is a worn-out leather book overtaken by nightmarish plants that grow off from the corrupted pages of the book. Lool Flowers can be seen blooming from the roots and the book appears to be sealed with two leather bands.

The Book of Corrupted Tales does not have any usages in-game that will benefit the players, other than to be sold to a selling vendor at a selling price of 9,000 gold.

Trivia

The players cannot use this book as a viable weapon in their equipment slots.
The 'falling of a distant empire' may refer to the ruins seen in A Frontier of Dragons, Ancient Forest, and Topple Town.
