Blackrock Mountain is a massive area that can be found in the Frontier. Blackrock Mountain is an area that provides a variety of ores, harvestable, and mobs. Most of the areas of Blackrock Mountain requires the player to climb or hike through its steep landscapes. Blackrock Mountain is noteworthy for its entrance to The Spider's Nest, the dungeon instance for the Corrupted Wizard. Blackrock Mountain is the home to Amy Thistlewitch, a vendor who will sell rings, necklaces, and amulets to the players.

It's also home to the notable NPC known as Nevesytnewt'cisum Llatcitah'wstaht, a person who will tell the players that the eye of the mountain holds real treasure in backwards language. This refers to the Entrance of the Corrupted Wizard and its notable openings above the entrance. There's a way to get into one of the "eyes" of the mountain by climbing midway through the mountain to find a hidden treasure on a narrow, steep passage. The other eye remains blockaded by the landscapes.

It's also noted that on the highest part of Blackrock Mountain is a spirit known as the Spirit of the Mountain, who will increase your max health by 100 for 500,000 gold. Blackrock Mountain also provides a fishing area known as Blackrock Pond. Players can fish here to obtain Blackrock Skimmerfish and other fishes. However, this area is usually bombarded by the mobs surrounding the pond.

If the player is heading to the location of where Blackrock Giant can be found, they may encounter the anthills of the Black Ant. This specific area is a miner's haven to miners, as it provides an abundance of emeralds for miners to farm gold. However, the mining experiences may be disrupted by other mobs, which include the Black Ant, Blackrock Wolf, Whapper, and perhaps the Blackrock Giant.

Near the rocky arch is a tent that can be found in The Forgotten Lands and Blackrock Mountain's pathways, it is a small green tent that probably remained undetected by most players. The campfire's flames are put out by something, and there is a log that probably served as a bench, as well as a wooden, square table.
