The Black Ant are hostile mobs that can be found in the Frontier. They are notably known to appear at Blackrock Mountain, where players can mine coal, gold, or emerald near the Giant. They are also seen in tunnel passageways of The Pits and Ancient Forest under one of the ridges.

It shares similar features to the Red Ant and they also share similar attacks. Oddly enough, when killed, the Black Ant drops the Red Ant Eyes and Red Pincers, even though it is clear that their eyes are green and their pincers are black based on their appearance.

There is one known attack that the Black Ant will unleash upon the player. Its known attack is snapping its pincers and lunging towards the player, attempting to land a direct hit on the player, similar to that of a Red Ant and the Little Ant.
