Summary

The Ancient Magma Fish is one of the many fishes that can be acquired in the Frontier. The Ancient Magma Fish can only be found and acquired from the Magma Pools in the Magma Depths, a sub-level of The Pits.

Other viable methods of acquiring the Ancient Magma Fish include the following:

A possible 'rare' drop from the Magma Knight.
A possible 'rare' drop from the Pine Giant.

Appearance/Usages

The Ancient Magma Fish is a large fish with its inner body seemingly made out of molten magma. Its lower and upper fins also appear to be made out of molten magma, with the fish's red scales remaining unaffected by the intense heat.

It is possible for players to exchange the Ancient Magma Fish for gold during Slayer's Tasks if the task card is currently active. Players can also consume the Ancient Magma Fish in order to restore 150 HP back to their health pools. Other than that, it can be sold to a selling vendor at a selling price of 12,000 gold.

Trivia

Like most items in-game, it can be acquired from the Otherworld Tower dungeon.
The Ancient Magma Fish would be considered hazardous for consumption in real-life due to the conditions it thrives in.
It is one of the few fishes that can only be found in one body of water. Other examples being the Coilfish and the Magma Worm.
