An update over the Otherworld. If you don't already know, the Otherworld is a huge set of caves. It's completely underground. That and increase the lore of the Wolfram party.
Handgun, it's the most economical Ranged weapon in the game, and with Special Cancel, it's the best Ranged weapon in the game. It only costs 5m more than you currently have. Stargun doesn't take any effort to use and it's reliable, if you can't preform Special Cancel, get this. GRL costs a bit of cash and is hard to maintain money-wise due to the high cost of Rockets, but it has the highest DPS of any weapon in the game.
Stargun only has higher DPS if you don't or can't use Special Cancel with Handgun.
Just requires a little bit of farming.
The Regular, Purple, and Green are not worth the cash due to their damage. Storms is much better if you main in magic and don't care to get a quite a bit closer as its DPS will be higher than the lower tier Salamanders.
*Btw, if you want help with Tower I would be willing to help you. I have F40s and a want to improve in the game, so I' willing to do Tower runs. Just a thought.
Greater Storms Spellbook. White or Black yes. You'll wait a long time in Deli getting White, but you can get it at any point in the game. Black requires you to kill Lost, which is a somewhat hard point to get to if you don't have good weapons. I would suggest getting Black if you don't want to spend hours to get White, but if you don't have good enough weapons to kill Lost and Democan, get White.
It's RNG based. A noob can get the White Salamander in the first 5 minutes of gameplay because of a lucky RNG spin, and a player that has been playing 100x as long takes an entire weekend to get it. If you're lucky, you'll get it early.
Currently, the Salamanders are better because of the distance that the flames reach and the fact that they take damage from more than 1 source.
Because everyone has differing opinions on class-setups. From a DPS standpoint, ranged is best. From a Cheap and reliable cheese setup, any magic (Except Greater Storms), for Dark Souls mode, melee.
On the note of the Non-combat armors, it's a good idea in all honesty. Increasing chance of specific fishes, or decreasing the chance of others. Highlighting rare birds within view (Maybe that you already have in the itempedia). Or maybe an item that increases the chance of higher number of drops.
Look at end-game money making this way; How does someone pay 50m for the GRL without doing Tower? Or 30m for True Spectral? Or even the 30m for Rising Dark as a vanity set? The scaling farming methods is EXACTLY what Spectra and Chelli had in mind. It takes skill to do Tower at some points, and is a cake-walk in others, but you can't beat the Tower without a good set of armor and a bit of skill. It took me 4 tries with the same armor set to beat 58 my first time.
What exactly do you want from your armor? I can build you a good balanced setup based on your needs and cash allowance.
What were you doing before you duplicated the item?
Odd. Any other details of how it this glitch works?
Even though this is sort of an old post, Handgun. It's pretty good for Tower and damage in general if you know how to special cancel (Which will probably get fixed in the future).
Yea, Leroy is right. There is a multitude of random textures all over the frontier. One of the more well known textures is the leaf texture on a tree in Frontier of Dragons.
Maybe you dropped it? That's the only thing I can think you did.
Remnant, Vital, Strange Creature, and Brain if you want the best stats for tanking. Replace Remnant with Dreamnet if you want the damage, but Remnant is good for tanking because of the regen, it also makes you a little bit faster.
I would suggest Gold for everyday use. It doesn't cost anything to use, and the 6 second wait time on R doesn't feel like a long time. It's useful for getting around. It's also pretty good against multiple enemies like all salamanders. Gnome is good for Tower use (If you can get around the random rocket explosion glitch, that is) and it's really fun to play around with in general. I would recommend it over the bad salamanders, but not White, Black, and Gold. I don't actively run Gnome on Tower and use the Black salamander instead.
