What is, statistically the best spellbook to use with the FL set, currently i have +299 magical damage and have been using mage for basically the whole game.
Greater storms. The mobility and fire rate are unparalleled by any other spellbook. The damage is pretty good too!
Ive used FL and natures wrath for a while. I dont use it for damage but the healing makes you super tanky. Other than that for damage I agree that greater storms is the best
Frontier Spellbook...? That book's been buffed like mad. Before the balance update, it's base damage was 130. Now it's 140. Sure, this doesn't seem like much, but it WILL stack over time. PLUS, it's Magic Bonus was increased from 75% to 100%. Not bad.
Oh, but I'm not done yet!
Because of this increase in the Magic Bonus, The 'Eternal From' deals a whole lot more damage. Remember when the special was weak, puny, unsatisfying? Oh hoh hoh, not anymore! It's AOE even works on a direct hit, making all direct shots deal 160% of the user's Magic Bonus. (Insert jaw-drop here)
But hold on, while in the 'Eternal Form' state, your walkspeed is multiplied by 65%. You can run, AND gun, and not worry about anything.
The Balance Update nerfed anything and everything under the sun, but not this boi.
Ok I think I changed my mind after I checked both pages. greater storms has more dps, like 100 damage, 10 times every 6 seconds (when Frontier Spellbook isnt in eternal form.) Im not totally sure what the normal dps of the Frontier spellbook is but I predict its similar cause it does 140 dmg with a slower fire rate. However, the better special move is obviously Frontier spellbook. Kinda forgot that the frontier spellbook got that buff lol so I thought the other was better.
Basically in the end I didnt really check and I agree with you.
Oh my oh my, seems that I've been spewing false information. The spellbook doesn't multiply your walkspeed by 65%, but it REDUCES it to 65%.
What do you think?
