Community Thoughts

As some of you may be aware of, the founder of the Fantastic Frontier Wikia is Jolluminati. However, he had been inactive since July 2017, which is almost 2 years and a half-ish of inactivity. Some people may think I'm the founder of the Fantastic Frontier Wikia...no, I'm not -- just any other contributor out there~ Anyways, if I ever planned to request FANDOM for the founder position of Fantastic Frontier Wikia, would you be fine with it? Why or why not?

[Note]: Another question if you would like to answer -- If you think the current state of the wiki and how it operates is fine, please do explain~ I'm curious as to what the community thinks about the wiki currently in terms of accessibility, reliability, moderation, etc.

[Note]: Keep in mind that there isn't any significant differences between bureaucrats and founders -- a wiki could still operate with a active bureaucrat/administrative team around.

Edit: This have been something on my mind for well, almost 2 years and a half, but it's not until now that I thought about it again.

Sure, why not? If they've been inactive for 2 years, there is absolutely no reason not to request the official role. You do sorta run the entire operation.

You deserve it more than anybody else in the community.

It's fine, they're inactive so there's no point in keeping them as owner.

Seriously though, you've been working on this for a long time now, I believe you have the right to take on that spot. You're one of the people that gives encouragement and I like that.

Although, if you still don't think you can take that spot, you're still the best flower in our hearts.

Frankly, I think that this change would be fine, as we really need more activity in our forms of information. An active owner sounds better than an inactive one.

Author Response: It's not a transfer of "ownership." Founders don't necessarily "own" a wiki they found, but can set the early direction of how it would operate/be designed as said by the Community Central of FANDOM. Besides that, thank you for your feedback~

I mean you own the wiki staff team and wiki discord and you do more work than anyone, plus he's been inactive for so long. I dont think even I have ever met him or seen him on the disc or wiki

Author Response: I don't "own" the wiki staff team, they all do this voluntarily and they just happen to be the more active/best contributors around~ Anyways, thank you for the feedback!

Yeah sounds like nothing can go wrong with that decision ,especially if the actual founder is inactive now.

I think you can do well in this position as you seem to actually care for this community .(not throwing shade at anyone specifically here)
